I’m a visiting assistant professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where I teach in the interdisciplinary Legal Studies program. My teaching and research combine law, public history, and new media. As a former Chicago History Museum conservator, I have an abiding interest in the stuff of history–objects, images, sounds, performances, and texts–as well as the ways in which we use these resources. This site is dedicated to broadening all aspects of our evidentiary practices.
